How do I unlock a bike?
You can use the Bikeep App or your Company RFID Card. Just swipe or tap to open any available dock.
Can I use any bike?
Yes. In our trust-based fleet system, you can take any bike that is docked. When you are finished, return it to any available dock.
Do I need my own lock?
No. The station has a built-in steel locking arm that secures the bike for you.
What if I have an issue?
Report any issues to your office manager. Admins can open docks remotely or with a master card.

How does the 'Trust-Based' model work?
This system is an Access Control solution, not a GPS tracker.
1. The user is identified via App or Card.
2. The dock unlocks.
3. The user takes the bike.
The system logs who accessed the station, but does not track the bike itself. This is perfect for closed campuses where you know your users.
Do I get data on usage?
Yes. With the SLA subscription, you get access to Console.bikeep.com. You can see exactly which user opened which dock and at what time. Usage can be estimated based on “unlock” events.
How do I add users?
You can manage the allowlist in the cloud console. You can easily add or revoke access for specific App users or RFID cards instantly.
Can the system detect if a bike is missing?
No. The system detects if the lock is Open or Closed. It does not detect if a bike is physically inside. This system relies on organizational policy and user accountability to ensure bikes are returned.
What is the typical installation time?
Installation is fast. A typical 5–10 dock station can usually be installed in just 2 to 6 hours. You just need power (110v/220v) and a flat surface.
