🚲 Big Street Bikers Expands Locky Dock Network to Hutt City! 🎉

We’re excited to share that Big Street Bikers have just launched a brand-new Locky Dock network in Hutt City, marking their 89th station across 10 cities—stretching all the way from Whangārei in the north to Dunedin in the south.

It represents the growing movement in Aotearoa towards smarter, more sustainable transport options. Despite today’s economic challenges, the continued growth of the Locky Dock network highlights the strong demand for climate-positive mobility solutions and the commitment of forward-thinking local councils to make cycling and micromobility safer and more accessible. 🌍

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Big Street Bikers for driving this change, and gratitude to Mayor Campbell Barry, Hutt City Council, Mercury NZ, and oOh! for their vision and support in making this project a reality.

The Bikeep Operator Portal: Console is a powerful online interface built to give operators full control over their Bikeep IoT-powered devices—in real time.

With over 13 customizable user profiles, the portal offers flexible access levels, from simple viewer-only roles to advanced profiles that can manage payments and process refunds. This ensures every stakeholder—from administrators to support staff—has the right tools at their fingertips.

Key features include:

  • 📊 Dashboard overview of all stations and devices
  • 🔄 Live status updates and remote management functions, such as force locking/unlocking and station restarts
  • 🎥 Camera access for monitoring, built with strict GDPR compliance
  • 🛠️ Maintenance and troubleshooting tools, including detailed logs of hardware events and usage history to support technicians during site visits

The Operator Console is designed to make managing Bikeep infrastructure seamless, efficient, and secure—helping operators deliver the best experience for cyclists while keeping systems running smoothly.
