Finland – New Installations 2025
Bauer Media Outdoor: Expanding in Finland
We've teamed up with Bauer Media Outdoor Finland and Citycon to bring secure bike and e-bike parking with charging to five major shopping centres in Finland:
- Kauppakeskus Iso Omena (Espoo)
- Lippulaiva (Espoo)
- Myyrmanni (Vantaa)
- Trio (Lahti)
- Koskikeskus Shopping Centre (Tampere)
In total, the project introduces:
- 4 e-bike charging stations (20 docks)
- 2 smart bike parking stations (10 docks)
These Bikeep smart stations combine security and convenience — offering free, app-controlled parking with built-in alarms and e-bike charging. Visitors can park near the main entrance, plug in their charger, and shop worry-free.
Why Retail Needs Smart Bike Parking
The way people move is changing. More customers are cycling and using e-bikes, and they want peace of mind when they stop to shop. Cyclists are increasingly choosing shopping destinations based on whether they can safely park and charge their vehicles. Without secure options, those customers — and their spending — go elsewhere.
With growing demand for sustainable transport, retail spaces must adapt to remain accessible and attractive. These new installations are more than infrastructure — they signal that micromobility belongs at the heart of modern cities and commerce.
