What It Does
The Rental Station turns any Bikeep parking dock into an internal bike sharing point. Users check out company bikes with an RFID card or the Bikeep app and return them to the same station — simple A-to-A sharing.
Important: This is an access control system, not a bike tracking system. The station knows when a dock is opened, but not whether a bike was taken or returned. It works because your users are known, accountable employees — not anonymous public users.
Ideal for corporate campuses, universities, hospitals, and any closed environment where you want to offer bikes as a perk without the complexity of a public bike-share.

How Bike Sharing Works

Receive an RFID card from reception or get allowlisted via the Bikeep app.
Check out a bike
Tap card or scan QR on any dock. The locking bar opens. Take the bike.
Return to the same station
Ride back, place bike in any open dock, tap to lock. Done.
Set up allowlist
Add users by phone number, CSV upload, campaign code, or API via console.bikeep.com.
Distribute access cards
Hand out RFID cards and keep master cards for maintenance and overrides.
Monitor dock activity
Track dock open/close events from the cloud dashboard. The station does not know whether a bike was taken or returned — users simply open any available dock. This is a trust-based system.
