Sønderborg Denmark – New Installation 2026
Sønderborg Kommune offers eight smart bike lockers with Bikeep IoT — Danish-made Nordic design by JP Group, free via app, for cargo and regular bikes.

The first smart bike parking station has been installed in front of the Focus Shopping Center in Bydgoszcz. It is the first such investment in Poland.
The official Bikeep representative in Poland is the Bydgoszcz-based company – Rowerado – which specializes in providing innovative solutions for parking and storing bicycles and scooters.

"I hope that there will be more smart bike parking stations in Bydgoszcz, because cyclists are afraid to lock their bikes with ordinary bike rack stands. A simple clasp is a barrier that is very easy to break, and as there are more and more expensive bikes, the bike theft problem may increase. I would rather buy an electric bike to run errands in the city, but I don't dare to leave it unattended." says Rowerado CEO Jos Muller.
Bikeep's smart bike parking stations offer a significant upgrade over traditional bike racks, providing individually secured, app-connected parking spots that give cyclists peace of mind — particularly for high-value bikes and e-bikes. Each slot locks the bicycle frame securely, and users can monitor their parking session via the Bikeep app.
The installation at Focus Shopping Center marks a milestone for cycling infrastructure in Poland, demonstrating growing demand for secure, technology-driven bike parking at commercial destinations. Rowerado's partnership with Bikeep aims to bring this standard of infrastructure to more cities across the country.
