Mayor Jack Crompton's support further underscores this commitment. This initiative follows the successful implementation of Bikeep technology in the Vancouver metro area, in collaboration with Urban Racks and TransLink. Since 2021, Urban Racks has deployed Bikeep-powered smart bike parking stations at key locations throughout Vancouver, including the recent addition at Phibbs Exchange in North Vancouver. These installations have set a high standard for secure, accessible bike parking that Whistler is now building on.
