Serbian media covers Bikeep's latest installation, recognising the city's efforts toward its smart city development plan.
A Bikeep smart station has been installed at Kalemegdan, one of Belgrade's most iconic landmarks and public spaces. The station is located in the Mali Kalemegdan section of the park, between the stairs and the Constantinople Road, and is available free of charge to all citizens.
"The Smart city type station that combines secure parking and charging of electric 'wheels' is available in the part of the park Mali Kalemegdan on the location between the stairs and the Constantinople Road, completely free of charge for all citizens."
The installation marks Belgrade's first smart parking location for bikes and e-scooters, offering residents and tourists a secure, connected solution for storing and charging their electric vehicles while visiting the historic fortress and surrounding park area.
Bikeep's smart stations use app-based locking technology, allowing users to reserve and release a parking spot directly from their smartphone. Each slot provides a secure anchor point for the vehicle, and charging-enabled stations deliver power to e-bikes and e-scooters during the parking session — all without requiring coins, cards, or attendants.
The Kalemegdan deployment reflects a broader trend across European cities: integrating smart mobility infrastructure into public spaces to encourage sustainable transport and reduce car dependency in urban centres.

The new Bikeep Smart Socket tackles e-bike fire safety in shared bike rooms with one-button activation, an automatic 4-hour shut-off, and zero app or Wi-Fi setup required.

Bikeep has installed a new smart bike parking and e-scooter charging station at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, supporting sustainable and convenient micromobility for employees and guests.

Southend-on-Sea has completed its smart bike-parking rollout, with ten fully-connected bike rooms now live across the city, powered by Bikeep's access-management platform and IoT hardware.
