Sønderborg Denmark – New Installation 2026
Sønderborg Kommune offers eight smart bike lockers with Bikeep IoT — Danish-made Nordic design by JP Group, free via app, for cargo and regular bikes.

The first Bikeep smart bike parking station will be installed at the T/C Galerija Centrs in Riga, Latvia. City residents and mall visitors will be able to park their bicycles safely and for free, marking a significant milestone for smart cycling infrastructure in the country.
Bikeep's smart bike parking solutions stand apart from conventional options through a multi-level security system designed to protect bicycles against theft. Each station connects to Bikeep's cloud-based management platform, allowing users to lock and unlock their bikes via a mobile app while giving operators full visibility over station usage and availability.
The installation at Galerija Centrs reflects a growing trend among commercial property owners to invest in cyclist-friendly amenities. Secure, convenient bike parking helps attract a broader customer base, supports sustainability goals, and encourages active travel in urban areas.
Bikeep already serves more than 1,000,000 users across more than 30 countries. In Estonia alone, more than 1,300 bicycle parking stations have been installed — a strong track record that the company is now bringing to the Latvian market.
